Question- How will you become the CM of Bihar?
Upendra Kushwaha: People will become CM and how they are made.
Question- If you become CM then what will be your blue print for Bihar?
Upendra Kushwaha: It is not important to be a CM. It is necessary to discuss the questions that the public has, the people should vote on them, and the government formed should find a solution to those questions. This has not happened yet. Till now, in the name of religion, in the name of caste, political parties have talked about the issues on the other side. These people also confused the public. Due to which the question of education, the question of health, the question of unemployment and other questions remained unresolved. Other states of the country are moving fast. While the youth of Bihar are wandering in other states to feed themselves. The situation like this should make Bihar move ahead, so that it is necessary to debate these questions, people should vote on these questions and a government should be formed to solve these questions. It is not necessary who becomes the CM. Till now, those who have seen from the public have been tested before the people. Everything is in front of the public. Those were 15 years old, what happened in their time, how was Bihar stricken, people were leaving Bihar. After this, Nitish Kumar came and used his full capacity only to save the chair. He also went 15 years. Are there any studies in government schools today?
Question- The question has been asked that you did nothing for Bihar when you were Union Minister of State Education and you had school education.
Upendra Kushwaha: Kendriya Vidyalaya was sentenced to Bihar as a Union Minister. Money is still available for school. But the Bihar government does not provide land. Then the public comes forward to give the land. But Nitish Kumar does not provide NOC for the school. Bihar Government does not provide NOC. In such a situation, what can the state government do till they cooperate?
Question- Why is your attachment dissolved just before the election? Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, are you separated from the NDA, then before the Bihar elections in 2020, you are separated from the Grand Alliance?
Upendra Kushwaha: We never accepted walking under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. This became the reason for separation from the Grand Alliance. When we went to the Grand Alliance, the country had elections. It was the election of who became the Prime Minister of the country. In Bihar, it was not the election of whom the leadership should go. When Bihar’s turn came, we had told the Rashtriya Janata Dal that if you are the largest party in the grand alliance, then your right is made for the post of Chief Minister but you change the leader first. Now Bihar will be benefited by Tejashwi Yadav, this is never possible. But they did not accept it, so we had to move from there.
Question- Why did you have to join hands with Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen)?
Upendra Kushwaha: There is no question of joining hands with any party. People come with different ideologies in the coalition. Remember, Nitish Kumar had once said while moving away from the NDA that we will join the soil but will not go with the BJP. We will create a union-free India. Now you see where Nitish Kumar is standing. Kushwaha said that we never compromised with the principles. While we were still in the House, we kept raising issues and fighting while being ministers. There is definitely an adjustment of seats. Watch the full interview video
